Sorrento St. Modular Home, Margate QLD

This double-story modular home makes efficient use of the narrow, 405m2 lot, an infill site with northern aspect on the Redcliffe peninsula near the Margate Beach north of Brisbane. A simple form with skillion roof and a small footprint that feels spacious through indoor-outdoor connection, open plan living with mezzanine and a full width roofed deck, designed to catch the breezes from the ocean while being protected from storms. Generous landscaped areas feature a natural pool with filtration pond and jacuzzi, veggie patch and wellness pod.

The modular home will be prefabricated using native cypress pine, naturally termite resistant and chemical free. It is raised on steel foundations with parking underneath and fully demountable.
