Healthy buildings that don’t cost the Earth.

Net Zero Design is a Brisbane-based Sustainable Building Design practice and consultancy, creating home renovations and extensions, new buildings of any type and urban design/master planning projects. We specialise in holistic sustainable-, healthy building- and modular design, working collaboratively with our clients, consultants and builders to create practical sustainability solutions that are inspiring and comfortable places to live, cost-effective and future-proof.

Holistic sustainability

Practical
sustainability

We design for people and the planet with a triple bottom line approach at the core of every project to maximise value upfront and into the future. This includes balancing functional, aesthetic and environmental considerations from the start where the design direction and up to 90% of the costs are determined to create buildings that do more with less.

Healthy living

Healthy
living

Good air quality, thermal comfort and moisture control in the building as well as connection with nature greatly increase health and wellbeing. We specify natural and low to zero toxic materials and design homes for clients with special health requirements but believe that healthy design and construction should be the standard for every building.

Modular design

Modular
design

Modular/prefab design offers a range of benefits such as a high level of flexibility, adaptability for future changes, quality- and cost control. Inspired by nature, our modular custom designs are efficient in planning and construction, embrace the unique features of each site and are easily personalised to suit your brief and budget.

To date our projects have included residential renovations/extensions, new custom homes, education- and master planning projects. We welcome collaboration and are open to any project that aligns with out values and philosophy. Explore some examples here:
